NIAO is an Irish knitwear label rooted in natural fibres, slow craft, and thoughtful design. We’re inspired by women, nature, artistry, and getting lost finding the little joys in life.

NIAO was born from a woollen cardigan passed down to our founder by her grandfather. A piece that carried warmth, memory, and the presence of someone loved. It’s a feeling we continue to return to.

Our creative process is shaped by a lineage of four generations of dressmakers and tailoresses. Care runs through everything we do, from the yarns we choose to the makers we trust.

Each collection begins with the finest natural fibres, selected for their softness, strength, and sustainability. By working slowly and producing in small runs, we honour the tradition of knitwear while shaping a more thoughtful future.
